can't beat the price

Bought these at the same time as some Komperdell trekking poles--- for over twice the price.....! These are sturdy, well-built and have a comfortable grip. The only drawback is that they are pretty heavy compared to Komperdells. I wouldn't want to carry them on a multiday backpack trip but as a spare set tossed in the trunk of your car and used for day hikes, they're terrific. Very good quality, full-featured trekking poles at a price that can't be beat.
