Quality first trekking pole

Just did a weekend hike in Mt Mitchell with over 5000ft of up and down with these, my first trekking poles. My GF and I switched off between this and an old-school hiking stick, and we both ended up preferring the poles to the hiking stick. Having 3 points of contact most of the time really helps balance, and I like that they telescope up to the size of my pack. You have to make sure they are locked in tight or they collapse, and I'm pretty sure I'll bend one of these between a rock and a hard place one day, but for now they work great. Worth the money!
