Purchased trekking poles for my wife. First hike out the poles helped give her confidence she had been missing on steep climbs and descents. Think will have to get my own set so I can keep up with her! She did experience some hot spots on her hands that may have become blisters on a longer hike, so we might try tape or moleskin on the handles. Adjustable length made it easy to strap poles to daypack when not in use and also put poles in car.
  • Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking
  • Cons: Caused blisters
  • Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational
  • Pros: Easy to adjust
