For price, good stakesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Juanmanuelguzman from Mexico on Tuesday, June 5, 2018Certainly for me are very chip and is a good product, very light and good in a not very hard floor.
love the itemVerified Buyer Reviewed by L Zeng from CA on Wednesday, April 25, 2018Very light and durable so far... bought the 2nd time already. More useful for backpacking tent.
Will breakVerified Buyer Reviewed by atbaritone from WyoBraska on Sunday, April 22, 2018I have a love/hate relationship with these stakes, but like a lover who can't tear himself away from a toxic relationship, I keep returning. They are light, and are bomber in the ground--so much better than the flimsy round stakes that come with most tents. The notch that holds the guyline does its job well, but that is the weak point. When pounding the stake into the well-packed earth of your typical overused backcountry campsite, the notch area will bend or break or cause deep stress which you went to the mountains to avoid in the first place resulting in extra long yoga poses and hours of Wim Hoff breathing. But when I break all eight of these I'll buy another pack in the hopes that some day I won't need to recycle them into next week's beer cans.
Good StakesReviewed by DScottOsage from Oklahoma City on Wednesday, April 4, 2018There is no such thing as a light weight tent stake that won't bend. That stated, these are very good tent stakes. Their angled design causes them to hold in loose ground better than straight tent pegs. I ordered two sets of these. They've functioned well.
Will not use 'til summer.Verified Buyer Reviewed by PaKayakers from Great Bend, PA on Monday, March 12, 2018Hard to give an adequate review until we use these stakes in summer. They appear to be well made. We chose lightweight items to travel with when camping in our "space-limited" camper van and hope these stakes hold up well to stake down our storage tent.
lightweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by NiTeMaRe from Upstate New York on Tuesday, October 31, 2017Light, durable, and cheap. It's always good to have a spare.
Bent on first useReviewed by E. R. from Utah on Wednesday, September 6, 2017The tops of 3 stakes bent on first use. The ground was not that rocky - I was at a national park campground where they always smooth out the ground. The rest bent on the second use. I have some DAC stakes that came with my Big Agnes copper spur tent (that I only use for backpacking) and those have never bent. I have used them for years in the rockiest of backcountry areas, so I don't think it was user error.
Solid but lightweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Cascades from Seattle on Wednesday, September 6, 2017These are tent stakes that are durable and easy to use, yet lightweight for backpacking.
NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by ak782226 from Ohio on Tuesday, June 13, 2017The price is ok. Durable and not easy to bend.
I can stake a bear with theseReviewed by Colorado Dreamer from Cincinnati, OH on Friday, June 9, 2017I ordered these in conjunction with my new tent ordered from here. This is my third set of these, I order these stakes with all my purchases of shelters, tents and canopies. Usually the included tent stakes are of no use, throw those things out...we don't have time for [...] stakes. These are where it's at. They take lots of abuse, been smashed into the ground with rocks, shoes, tree branches, backs of axes, and they hold up. They stay in the ground and keep that tent planted on some terra firma. Love the V-notches, make me feel extra confident about my tent not flying away. I pity the fool who doesn't use these.
