Verified Buyer Reviewed by Oldsparkey from Florida on Thursday, March 22, 2018This morning I put some chilled Gator Aid ( 12 oz ) in one side pocket, Some Bear Spray ( UDAP 7.9 oz ) in the other side pocket. Some snacks in the main pocket and the shoulder strap in the outside pocket. Pulled the hip belt out and put the pack on. During my couple of hours walk down the Florida Trail the pack stayed right where I had it and was very comfortable. About the half way mark I had a snack and the Gator Aid which was really welcome. Thanks to the pack I was able to have the refreshments to enjoy. Even the Bear Spray was with me in case Sasquatch jumped out of the bushes. lol OK seriously , I carry the spray as a non lethal protection.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by XPLORMOR from Vermont on Tuesday, March 20, 2018Ordered the Mountainsmith Modular Hauler 4 to help organize family outings. With our upcoming third annual trip to North Carolina to help celebrate my brothers Copper Barrel Moonshine anniversary, the timing couldn't have been better! We are a family of four and the individual bags are just the right size to pack for a week worth of clothes if packed carefully. I own several Mountainsmith bags and have had good luck with them. The Hauler 4 seems made well enough, I hope to get years of use out of these bags!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dave from Colorado on Monday, March 19, 2018On my first snowshoe hike with these, maybe by 2 miles in, I found the snow baskets completely broken and useless, and one of the poles became slightly bent. Locking mechanisms seem to work well in my limited experience with them, but needed substantial adjustment with a screwdriver out of the box.
