I have a similar pair of sneaker/hiker with the open back that is wearing out - so I bought these to replace those but these were very uncomfortable and a chore to put on - not worth the trouble so I returned.

I like the intent of these shoes- a light, rugged, shoe that can be worn without socks. But unfortunately, my pinky toes rub and get caught on the holes and the base of my toes rub on some of the stiching inside the shoe. Didn't take long to realize that these would not work. Send them back. I'm normally a size 10.5 and ordered a 10.5- the fit was there just not the comfort.

I really like closed toe sandals, I have a pair of Keens and a pair of Tevas, both which are excellent but these are a bit of a let down. I bought these for hanging around the house/yard this summer and going to the beach on vacation. The price was excellent and they look good but they are not all that comfortable. They lack the internal padding or soft material that I feel should be there. They are also not all that well stitched inside and the spare material around the seams rubs somewhat. They are ok in bare feet if you are not walking far but I mostly wear them with very short running/biking socks. The sole is rugged but light and would be good for hiking in but the upper feels just to flimsy. I am determined to use them around the house and yard, I like how they look and maybe I'll get used to them
