Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pat from PA. on Sunday, October 15, 2017The Nook is extremely well made, construction and materials are top of the line. As other reviewers have said, the tent should have come with more guylines, because the Nook needs to be guyed out. Adding lines and stakes adds to the weight, of course.
The side walls sag, and cannot be made taut, but since MSR promotes the Nook as fitting into small spaces, maybe that's the accommodation. The floor also wrinkles and can't be pulled taut. I didn't use the hiking pole anchor for the rear of the tent and that might have helped with the floor. The Shed is a little tricky setting up for the first time, but certainly adds to the livability and comfort of the tent. During a recent trip, it rained for four days but my dog and I were snug and dry.(tent guyed out) No condensation issues at all. At Sierra's prices, I'm happy with the Nook, and think it was a good deal!
