Really wanted to like this, but the fit is strange -- the shoulders are too roomy and the fabric bubbles out so the shoulders look puffy/rounded. The sleeves are cut almost tapered, so that just emphasizes the effect. Tried on twice to be sure, but pulled/adjusted so much I knew I'd never wear it : (

This casual dress/oversized shirt is super soft and adorable. If I could take 4 inches off my hips and add them to my height, it would be perfect! It accentuated my hips with the pockets, which I could have lived with but it was too snug. If I had gone up a size, it would have made the top too big. I so wanted this to work because it was really pretty, unfortunately I had to send it back.

This is a nice dress but a bit too sack-like for me personally to wear without a belt over it. I also have to roll the sleeves a few times. Overall I'm happy with this dress, as I like the soft material, and the good construction. When I wear it belted it tends to puff up if I reach up then put my arms back down, so I have to pull it back down a lot. I wish I could make some alterations so I wouldn't have to belt it, but the pleats under the arms and the pockets are too much for me to work around. I'm very petite and usually wear xs, pxs, or xxs. The xs fits more like most smalls fit me, so I suggest sizing down.

OVerall nice quality, but only available in a small, which was too tight through the hips. Runs true to size.

this is a great chic-casual tunic for pairing with leggings ("dress" is a bit of a misnomer in my book here because i find too short to wear comfortably alone). the waist is tapered just so slightly to give a bit more shape without being tight or impeding. one could probably add a chunky belt if desired, but the free-form west coast lifestyle look of this top is otherwise quite pleasing. it does rumple a bit, but also gets by with a quick water spritz without having to be laboriously ironed or dry cleaned. would buy true size, as this is a bit more generous than other nau dresses in which i have needed to size up. (i am 5'7", 125 lbs, chest 34A and usually wear a 4 - bought an XS in this top)

  • “Would the xs be too frumpy/long on someone 5'2"?”
Asked by BrieCam from Chicago on 4/15/2016 1:00:17 PM
    • Depends on your dimensions. I'm 5'1 and normally a petite xs. I have to belt it and roll up the sleeve to eliminate frump.

    • not sure - i am 5'7" and definitely find this more of a long tunic than a true dress. i would never wear it without leggings; would be too short! it might be a great shirtdress on someone with a smaller frame.

  • “Does this shirt dress have a sheen to it as appears in the picture?”
Asked by BrieCam from Chicago on 4/12/2016 2:44:43 PM
    • depends on the color - the black one has a very slight sheen (really not shiny), while the pale grey is quite matte.
