There are no screws to attach them; they are supped to just slip on and stay put. They don't, which makes this otherwise well designed hamper the most annoying thing you can put in your closet or laundry room. It keep tipping over and forget about moving it around. It is not usable until I glue the wheels on with e6000 or something like that. Other than that, it is a good hamper. I like the two compartments; helps to separate kids' clothing from adults'. It's very deep, fits tons of clothes, but narrow so can fit into small places.
