Nemo Alti Storm Tent - Footprint, 3-Person, 4-Season
Closeouts. If your idea of adventure includes unpredictable weather and harsh mountain elements, then you'll love the unbreakable four-season protection of Nemo's Alti Storm tent, built to withstand heavy snow, high wind and never-ending downpours. Multiple ridge poles continue to the ground for increased strength, multiple guy-out points offer stability, and durable, watertight fabric keeps you and your gear dry.

Reviewed by arcangeladventures from Georgia on Wednesday, August 14, 2013This is probably the best winter camping tent I have ever purchased. A little heavy but weight is necessary for durability and standing up to massive amount of rain, wind or snow. Easy set up. Mine came with footprint so that is a definant plus. I bought an after market gear loft as I couldn't find any Nemo specific brand available.
Reviewed by Ele_boz from Phoenixville, PA on Sunday, July 14, 2013We ordered it for an all-season camping and it's definitely not designed for that. It's fairly light and very roomy (not one of those 3-person tents where 3 would barely fit).
We set it up on our back yard in the shade of the tree on a hot June day and spent about 10 minutes in it - it was getting hot. There are only two small vents in the doors (just as shown on the picture), and there is nothing else you can open up to get more air in. So I would call it a 3-season tent since you wouldn't want to use it in summer.
Overall quality seems good, but we did return it.
Reviewed by Chris D. from San Francisco, CA on Saturday, July 6, 2013Unlike the other customer/reviewer, I had absolutely no problems in setting up this tent. There are four poles, all of which are the same size (also indicated within the instructions); you thread them through the mesh sleeves and they EASILY snapped into the grommets at the four corners. I have six (6) tents and this is about as easy as the MSR HH (which in its own right is a very easy to assemble tent). Once setup, the tent is a rigid structure (as expected) and very roomy. I'm 5'10" in height and when I lay down inside the tent, there is ample room for my 70L pack! I bought this 3p tent to shelter 2 people during winter camping and it is very roomy....we will have no issues with storing all of our gear inside the tent if we choose to.
This tent is a keeper, especially for the price at STP (with coupon)! I have no qualms about recommending this tent to anyone who needs a sturdy (albeit heavy) 4-season tent. I'm confident that this tent will withstand the snow, wind, and rain that I will subject it to.
Reviewed by BARRY from Ramstein Airbase, Germany on Monday, July 1, 2013I purchased this tent because of the few reviews stating this tent was constructed of burly materials...I was excited once I unpacked the tent to see it is contructed with toughness and durability in mind. Unfortunately it all went down the drain when trying to erect the tent. Due to how heavy this tent is and the fact that it has pole sleeves made this impossible to erect. After I inserted all the poles through the sleeves it was time to put the poles in the grommets, even with two people I was using more force than necessary to try to get them into the grommets. I immediately stopped after the poles sounded like they were going to snap. I own MH Trango 3.1 and it is super easy to set up with the clip design. Maybe it was operator error on my part but
ive owned tents with pole sleeves in the past and never had this issue..
