Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by BckPckHntr from Calif Hi Desert on Thursday, February 6, 2014The one I received had been used - looks to have been returned, had dirt on stakes & missing directions. I was going to return it, but decided not worth the trouble as I got it on sale and discounted "deal" coupon.
I went to Nemo company website and downloaded directions - there is a definite procedure to putting it up. Simple to put it up properly. As with most tents - sizing is "sardine" style, more like 2 person tent with gear. A single cot did fit ok. I like it without floor for rocky ground set up, I like the light weight and room for one person with a dog & gear. Good ventilation helps keep inside condensation down. Held up to 30 mph wind when all staked out.
Reviewed by gman80918 from Colorado on Thursday, October 24, 2013I have been doing some research on pyramid shelters....looked at the Go-Lite Shangri La 3, Sierra Designs Origami 3 and some others. Decided on the Nemo Pentalite due to the extra room, lite weight and the great STP price. I will pick up the optional Wedge piece so I can have a floored shelter when needed. I used this shelter to go camping with my grandsons in Ohio and did not mind not having a floor for that trip. Well made, kept the rain out and stood strong in the wind. Some condensation but nothing horrible.
