The Merino wool in this sweater feels almost like Pima cotton, it's so soft. The knit is tight, so it doesn't catch on things and like all wool, it beats the pants off of synthetic "wicking" materials. For me, here in the PNW, it's going to be an all-season garment.

It is a bit snug for the six, medium weight. Sleeve length is good, compared to other sweater I ordered from same maker.
