Caused the largest blister I have had in 15+ yrs of running

As a wearer of Asics (Kayanos, GT2000) for quite some time (10+ years), I became interested in trying another pair of shoes per all of the novel technologies that have come about lately. I had previously bought the New Balance fresh foam Zante v2s to wear as comfortable shoes; and have been happy with them for short 4-6 mile runs without a problem.

However, when I ran in the 1080v6s I immediately noticed a seam in the instep as well as the significant difference in the heel drop from my ASICS model (10 to 7). I also developed blisters on two separate runs, on a 4 miler and after a 10 miler (with faster miles in the middle) I developed a 2.5 inch blister on the instep of my right foot. I have never had a blister so large even after marathons and longer training runs.

Be very aware of this shoe, although beautiful, did not work for my feet.
