Fit: Some stores tell you to buy a half size up in this model. I like my trail running shoes to feel secure, so I bought my normal size. These shoes have a firm toe box and heel cup t... Read More

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Classic dresser from cresson, TX on Sunday, September 11, 2016Thought these shoes were cute but had to return them. I wear inserts and each shoe is a chance. One of the other raters had said the treads were not deep and I agree. They are a little smooth for hiking.

Reviewed by tsmash from California on Tuesday, July 19, 2016I bought these and am keeping them, but...I hiked in them once and ran a little. They are comfortable, shock absorbing and you can lace them up to get a good fit. But...the tread design is not great -- when there's loose material (small rocks, sand) the tread lugs (especially in the toe area) are not really deep enough to get a good grip. And -- this is the big one -- I would not wear these in wet conditions at all. After my hike, I stopped in a restaurant and used the restroom; there were a few drops of water on the tile floor and when these shoes hit them my foot almost slid out from under me. Whatever the opposite of a grippy sole is -- that's what these shoes have. The rubber compound makes them incredibly slippery on wet hard surfaces. Luckily, I'm in California whee it never rains (so I'm keeping them) but be careful..
