Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laura from Pittsburgh on Monday, May 7, 2018I am a female and wearing these shoes with jeans and for walking. I usually buy men's shoes because of the width. the only complaint about the shoes is the EE width deemed smaller than usual.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bill in KC from Kansas City on Wednesday, February 7, 2018I have always like New Balance shoes and this is no exception. I work on my feet all day and need a shoe the will support my
feet and be comfortable. These do just that. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. Sierra Trading Post has great prices on gear and I buy all my shoes and winter gear there.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by New from Colorado on Thursday, December 21, 2017These are my first running shoes and they’re pretty awesome. They are also great for walking. I normally wear size 9 NB street shoe (skate shoe, actually) but I sized down 0.5 size to 8.5. They fit like a glove.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jamie from Alabama on Friday, November 10, 2017These shoes are great. I need a 12.5 w and there aren't too many stability shoes to choose from. They have nice grip on the soles and are very cushy even after a high impact workout.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by For Petes Sake from Houston, TX on Wednesday, October 25, 2017I'm 45, 190 lbs, 5' 11", and run 25-35 miles a week.
If you run in Saucony Guides, Brooks Adrenalines or some other stability shoe, these might be worth a shot if you fall somewhere between a traditional, stodgy stability shoe like these and a pure cushion shoe. I've ordered three pairs of these because they are easily the most cushioned shoe I've worn from NB and the support is there but isn't invasive. Very comparable to the NIke Lunar Glides: these shoes are peppy on shorter, faster workouts, and, unlike the Lunar Glides, they comfortably cruise at distances longer than 6 miles. I've enjoyed these with no issues for 10 and 12 mile runs.
Toe box is wide. I have a narrow foot and thought it might be a problem but the upper really wraps around your foot.
Only possible negative is the after 150 miles, there is clear wear to the front tread of the sole. This might be more to my weight as I've experienced this with other shoes only with more miles.
