pleasantly surprised, great alternative to adrenalines

I've been a die-hard brooks adrenaline fan for years but was looking for something a bit more aggressive for the trails. I pronate, so need a stability shoe and also like the wide toe-box. I've tried Altras but they literally disintegrated beneath me. I was hesitant to try something new but read that the Leadville V3 had a similar fit as the Adrenaline and the price was right (got them on close out, atleast they'd be a good hiking sneaker if they weren't right for running. My first impression of them (walking around my house) was that they were stiff and had little cushion. Once I hit the trail, though, they were great! They ARE flexible and have lots of room in the toe box. I have a little bit of heel slip, but I think I just need to lace them up differently. These are not your grandpas NBs!.
