Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hooked on Tennis from Long Beach, CA on Thursday, August 23, 2012I bought these for tennis and have used them twice. They are less rigid than my other New Balance Tennis shoes. My feet feel less fatigued when I'm done so I'm happy.
- Best Uses: Goofing around, Looking Hip, Tennis
- Cons: Durability, Squeaky on the court
- Pros: BREATHES WELL, Good price, Light and comfortable, Like the looks
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Avi8tor Louie from North Carolina on Monday, August 20, 2012Was drawn to these shoes mainly for the discounted price and brand name. Have had many NB running shoes as I have flat feet and their running shoes provide the best fit with or without orthotics.
These fit very well right out of the box. I have heard complaints about the thin insole but with a good quality sport sock the thin insole gives great feedback on the court. Cushioning in the outsole is very good. Side support is good during lateral movements but due to the shoes low profile, it may give a false sense of security. I actually lace differently than most to support my flat arch so side support really is not a factor. Was a bit apprehensive with the black and yellow but they really have grown on me and certainly much different than the white shoes you see today.
Overall, not the best tennis shoe out there but certainly a very acceptable light weight shoe if your game requires quickness! And you can't beat STP price....well done! And don't forget about the outer sole 1 year warranty. Could buy 3 pairs of these for the price of the leading shoe today.
- Best Uses: Match Day
- Cons: Less Side support, Less snug in toe box
- Pros: Excellent Breathability, EXCELLENT TRACTION, Very Light Weight
Reviewed by Steebo from Dalton, Ga on Thursday, August 2, 2012Light and low to the ground makes it a very quick shoe on the tennis court. It doesn't have a lot of padding, so be careful if that is something you need. I am ordering my third pair due to this great price. My two previous fit a little tight when I put them on and wore them a couple of days before playing in them, then they fit perfectly
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JAM_MD from Baltimore, MD on Thursday, July 12, 2012Just what I expected from New Balance/Dunham. Well made and super comfortable right out of box.
- Best Uses: Hard court activities, Tennis, Walking
- Cons: 12 size large
- Pros: Great cushioning, Great Fit
