However, though the tread is great, the soles footbed is very thin and one can almost tell "heads or tails" if you step on a coin!

This is an amazingly comfortable run shoe that fits narrow feet. True to size. We added a running insert so we sized up a 1/2 size. Fits perfect.

I wear inserts with every pair of shoes I own, and you should too. I bought these new balances because they were 39.99. Super light weight comfortable shoe for me, little pocket on the side for a stash of gel pack. I'm more of trail guy, but I loved the feathery lightness lf this shoe compared to using my trail runners on the road. Wd buy again at this proce

Great qaulityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tawney V from Michigan on Monday, January 29, 2018I ordered the black ones for my husband who a gym rat who mostly lifts weights but he also does some cardio a few times a week. first thin he said was, "wow these are really expensive shoes how much did you pay for them?" the entire shoe is made to vent while simultaneously hugging your foot like a glove. there are 2 layers to the outside of the shoe. there is a neopreme style material that hugs your foot then a mesh style exoskeleton to give the shoe structure and a frame.
