Great polarization on the waterVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nathan from Colorado on Monday, January 29, 2018I’m an avid angler, 88 days out on the water in 2017, and have tried several brands and lens types from Costa, Smith, Maui Jim and Oakley. My fishing buddies have their favorite fishing glasses as well. We had seven of the top brands lined up one outing and tried them all on. It was unanimous between us that Oakley's Mainlink Prizm Shallow Water sunglasses gave us the best visibility and clarity in the water. I couldn’t believe it! In addition to having a cool style and lens color, the polarization swept the competition away.
As they’re my new favorite pair of glasses I ordered a second pair through STP. Unfortunately, they came with a scratched lens. After reading a similar review it seems like STP may be trying to pawn off this last pair with a scratched lens. FOR SHAME..
They Caught a 12 in brown troutReviewed by JS from Western Pa on Wednesday, September 13, 2017Fishing this morning from the bank at the base of a deep pool I was floating a small plastic worm back toward me. About 4 feet in front of me the water drops off to about 4 feet and I let the worm stop right there and hold for a second. At that point I saw a fish poke his head out take a nice look at the worm and then he took it, I set the hook, netted him, took three steps down the bank and then let him go.
Would I have caught that fish without the glasses, probably, but it wouldn't have been as much fun.
Received scratched lensVerified Buyer Reviewed by Oregondisc from Oregon on Monday, August 14, 2017The lens were scratched on one side and the box was open when we received them. We called for an exchange but can't because only in store has them and nearest store is 2 states away.
