5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Ski Jacket

This jacket is super warm, and very comfortable to wear. I really like the cinch in the back which gives it a more feminine look. I also really love the mobility this provides for the active goer! Nebraskan winters are no match for this jacket! If I ever need another jacket in the future (far distant future because of the feel of durability for this jacket) I will be getting an Obermeyer. I like supporting the US companies, Obermeyer which is made in Aspen, CO. I highly recommend this jacket and brand name if you're looking for a super warm, durable and mobile ski jacket!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Stylish and warm parka

I love this parka! I have numerous winter coats but none of them were warm enough for me, especially in the arms. So far I have been very happy with this one. It is very stylish, figure flattering, warm without being bulky, and love the copper color- such a nice departure from the standard black coat. I've been wearing it in temps down to around 10F and so far have been warm enough, even when only wearing one shirt layer underneath. Unlike many coats, the arms have enough room and freedom of movement. Sizing is true to size, I'm 5'6", 145, curvy/hourglass figure with long torso and size 10 is perfect- figure flattering but still enough room to layer underneath, and nice hip length. Highly recommend.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice jacket

The color and fabric are beautiful but it doesn’t seem as durable as a traditional ski jacket and I question how water resistant/proof it will be. It seems to have nice flexibility in the arms and the cut is flattering. However, the back seams are decorative and not elastic as I assumed. The overall length is good but the arms are very long. I ordered a size up so that I could layer and that was a good choice. I’m 5’3” and 130lbs and ordered an 8.

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
