Verified Buyer Reviewed by Speed from SC on Wednesday, October 14, 2015I needed a mid weight tightly woven full zip wool sweater for bluebird ski slope days...this is it. Perfect.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Boss John from Missouri on Tuesday, September 22, 2015A good thick, heavy, mid weight jacket. Has a rough wool texture on outside, not in a bad way. Sleeve length was great that was important to me. Another quality product from Obermeyer.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bonadooch from New Jersey on Monday, September 7, 2015I wear a 42 regular and this fit fine with plenty of room in the shoulders and arms for whatever you are doing. If you want something tighter and form fitting I would order a size down.
Reviewed by Montana Smoky from NW Montana on Tuesday, January 6, 2015This is exactly what I was looking for to go exploring through the backcountry of northwest Montana. It's 50% wool, so it's breathable and water resistant, but where this piece really hits the spot is under a shell. It's a combination of a very sturdy jacket and a sweater. The fabric is functional and is not going to be damaged by active use, which is further aided by a bit of synthetic material. This is warm jacket, but not too warm for outdoor activity. I'll put this on under my shell to go out snowshoeing or cross country skiing on cold Montana days. I've been very comfortable wearing this at 10-12 degrees up to 35 or so with a slight wind. It's reasonably wind resistant. It also looks good to wear simply out and about. The collar comes up quite high to protect your neck, as well.
If you're looking for a functional middle layer that can also function as a nice looking and warm outerwear, this is a good pick. I agree with the comments that it's a bit boxy on the bottom. I'm 5'11" 175 pounds, and a large fits me well, though leaves a small amount of room. Not bad. I could layer underneath, but don't really see the point. Note: I don't really mind the feel of more coarse wool. Yes, it's the more course wool and not the soft but more flimsy, snaggy, and tearable merino wool.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jeepin48 from Michigan on Tuesday, December 16, 2014Great quality and build but I would consider it more of a jacket than a sweater. It does not stop all wind but is still very warm. I am 5'10" 165lb and a medium is a perfect fit as a jacket with 2 shirts underneath. It does not have a pull string at the bottom or adjustments at the cuffs. Both fit very will and are not needed. I would recommend it to anyone and buy it again.

The sleeve for size small is 32"
It is designed as ski wear where flexibility is also required so it should be fine.
