I purchased this jacket for a Spring ski trip to Telluride. The weather ranged from the low 30's to the high 40's. It was perfect. Tons of pockets. Not too bulky and depending on the layers underneath I was very toasty. Even too hot on sunny days on the slopes. It comes to your hips. I wore i... Read More

I was even more pleased with the coat once it arrived. Lovely details, and a beautiful, soft fabric. Plenty of pockets, and cool styling. I am typically a 2/4 and ordered the 6, it fits perfectly.

Loved everything about the jacket, BUT, it came with a very strong odor from probable mildew. Tried washing it and letting it air in sub zero temperatures with no improvement. It made everything it touched smell as well. Sent it back today, reluctantly. It was bad enough to make me skeptical about ordering another coat. Is the odor from its original storage, or is it from storage at Sierra Trading Post???

This jacket is perfect! I bought it for my mother, but now I will buy and to myself. Great quality, beautiful finish of seams, a lot of very convenient pockets, beautiful lining. I am very happy!

I bought this for my daughter and she's very happy with it. Warmth without a lot of bulk and style was what she wanted and this fit the bill. I rated 4 stars for now as we haven't seen how it will stand up against a North Dakota winter but considering the quality of the construction the only thing that wouldn't bump it up a star would be if it's not as warm as she hoped. Runs a little small...we had to return for a size larger, which showed up in only a few days. Great company!

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
