I love this jacket!! I have worn it skiing in wind gusts up to forty miles an hour with driving snow and twleve degree temps. I have stayed perfectly warm with a base layer and light fleece top. The jacket also has nice technical features, good pockets, venting, sealed zippers. I am 5'9'' and generally wear a size ten. The size ten is fitted but fits well. It is a little narrow in the hip.

I purchased this for a friend...and she claims it fits perfectly, and loves the look.
I only gave it four stars, as she has not skied in it yet?!
    No feedback on performance...

Great jacket with features I've never seen on ski jackets before, including internal sleeves that stretch and have thumb holes for really good seal in bad weather.

I was nervous about the fit of this jacket when I ordered it,but have purchased Obermeyer in the past & was aware that their sizing is more true to European sizing standards (for example: US ladies 8 =European ladies 10).It is a bit snug in the hip, but otherwise a very good fit for me. Excellent design, construction & quality of materials. I've only been wearing it for about 2 weeks & have already received a lot of compliments on it! I'm looking forward to wearing it for ski season & and a long awaited Colorodo ski trip. Thanks again Sierra Trading Post!

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
