I gave this wonderful jacket the ultimate test. I wore it throughout my recent trip to Iceland. The weather was 45 to 52F (feels like 38F) with gale force winds at times. I was totally warm. This jacket is so stylish. It is warm, but not bulky. It fits like it was made personally for me.

I bought a size 4 for my 11 year old daughter who is usually a size 0- too small, very tight in the shoulders and short in the waist. Had to return it. This would fit a small child, not a grown adult apparently.

The jacket will be nice for skiing. Fit was very tight so no room for layering. Had to exchange for larger size.
    • Cons: No Fleece On Collar, No sleeve pocket
    • Pros: Nice Material

I gave this wonderful jacket the ultimate test. I wore it throughout my recent trip to Iceland. The weather was 45 to 52F (feels like 38F) with gale force winds at times. I was totally warm. The zipper comes up to your chin to keep your neck totally warm. Although I had a wool pull on hat, I needed the hood to break the wind. Perfectly designed with closures that embrace your face. I got the navy and the color is bright and beautiful. Obermeyer runs quite small. I usually wear size 6 but had to go with size 8.
    • Best Uses: Hiking
    • Cons: none
    • Pros: Beautiful Color, Warm windproof

You'll need to layer up with this. Has a nice shape that will show your curves in the right places.

Will seal you up a little at the wrists and waist.

Lots of useful zippers in and out of the jacket.

I got navy and it looks nice and elegant!
    • Cons: Doesnt keep you warm
    • Pros: Looks great nice fit, Sporty, Zippers everywhere

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
