It is extremely comfortable with Obermeyer's luxe zipper hardware, etc. that offer that bit of shine. The quilting at the back is extremely well done & the fabric is supple for soft, easy movement. I usually take a size 8, but sized up to a 10 for an oversized fit (and it was the only size still available at this excellent price point). The color "Clove" is described as "Dark Red" elsewhere. It's a high end rendition of a color that will complement most any skin tone.

I could still fit a thin underlayer plus a sweater inside the jacket. The fit of the jacket is very tailored and I really like the color combination. The is my first obernmyer jacket and i feel that it is very wellmade. I haven’t wore it on the slope but had wore it a few times during light snow when walking our dog (lol) and it had kept me dry and warm.

Very high quality and great attention to detail. I got the size 10, which is my normal size, I probably could have gotten either the 10 or the 12, but now that I have it and it works I am fine with the 10. It fits like typical ski wear. I am a little over 5'4" and the jacket bottom came down past my hips - longer than in the picture. It's not a sleek look - since I am short, I look a little like the michelin man, but it's so pretty and I paired with some obermeyer white/black pants that I got from Sierra at the same time and it makes a great outfit.
I wore it last weekend in 25 - 30 degree skiing and it was warm and comfy with a very light base layer and light fleece. The collar comes up high so I didn't use my usual neck gaiter and I was fine. It's got a lot of pockets so I could fit my phone, tissues, lip balm, id/credit card/cash and car key without any problem.
I love this jacket and I can't overstate the quality - it's worth every penny. -

However, the internal and outside chest pockets are too small to hold my cell phone. That's why I only gave this a 4 rating. But it is very warm. I was a bit hesitant ordering a 10 petite because the sizing chart looked like it would fit small, but it is actually roomy enough to wear a vest underneath.
