I bought this jacket to ski in this Christmas. It kept me fantastically warm in Monarch, CO when temperatures dropped to the single digits and snowing hard. I wear an 8/10 top and ordered the size 10 jacket. Fit perfectly. Back home in Texas because the jacket is fairly light weight and easy to move in I wear it to exercise my horses when temps drop below freezing.

This is perfect jacket for winter destinations!! I didn't want to invest to much money in a jacket as I'm from the warm south and won't get to much use. This has been the perfect investment to stay warm and blend in with the locals without dropping an insane amount of cash. I'm sure I'll have this for quite a while.

The coat is nice, but lining material was not my taste. Looks like plastic.

Love this coat. Very warm but not bulky. Only wish it was a bit longer & had a little bit more room in the hips I am petite 5'2" so I if you are tall this would not cover your butt which for me is important especially on the lifts.

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
