I was not disappointed with this purchase.

Too soon to rate the warmth, as I just got them, but the fit is good. I am 5'9" about 145 pounds, with a 32 inch waist. The mediums fit me just right. With the adjustable Velcro waist tabs they will accommodate more base layers than I could contemplate. Fabric is soft and not as noisy as some others. Thigh venting will be a benefit on boot pack exercises.

I ordered a medium, and the pants were form fitting (I'm 6' and 155 lbs), but in a stylish and attractive way. The waist is conveniently adjustable with Velcro straps. Yet the pants were also flexible and not restrictive to quick movements (quick carving and jumping). I used these for spring skiing without a base layer and they were plenty warm but not hot (and have vents if you need to cool down). In colder weather, they should be fine with a base layer. Could have used a few more pockets (has one on each hip and one above the right knee), like maybe on the other leg and in the back,

I am a 34 waist and mediums usually fit. In a medium this was slightly too small. Otherwise looks well made

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
