I bought the men's pants because they came in different colors, and I didn't find the color I wanted in the women's section. I live in a ski resort and ski often. I'm really happy with them; they do run a bit big, but they're comfortable and sturdy. Would like to have had a strap around the ankles to tighten them up around my ski boots, but for the price they were a really good deal.

The pants look good and seem well-made out of the box. Nicer than I expected, actually. They are a bit baggy, but the option of a short inseam is very nice. I ordered size Medium/Short and they fit me well (I generally wear 32-33W x 30-31L pants). Most size "medium" ski pants are way too long. Just got them so I obviously haven't used them yet, so I can't speak to function, durability, etc. Time will tell, but so far, so good.

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
