Solid auto locking carabiner... but with some small drawbacks

When I first received this carabiner in the mail I was surprised at it's size and weight, it's quite burly. According to the manufacturer it weighs in at 105 grams. It's not so much the weight that bothers me, but just the physical girth of the carabiner and twist lock mechanism. This may be difficult for someone with smaller hands... I have large hands and at times it can get a little awkward to hold the carabiner and unlock the twist lock with one hand (this might just take more practice). I was also disappointed to find out that because of the carabiner's thickness and geometry, a Petzl GriGri 2 cannot be used with this item (it gets caught up where "Omega USA" is branded on the backside of the carabiner). So instead of using this as a belay locking carabiner, it will be used for my personal anchor system.
Previous Review “Not sure what I think....this asymmetrical carabiner may be great for personal anchors and/or belaying (for right-handed folks), but maybe not so good for top rope anchors or any use where you'd want to grab it with either hand"”
