Great BoatReviewed by Seattle mom from Seattle area on Sunday, May 27, 2018I have many inflatable kayaks and have kayaked for years, both flat water and white water. Really like this boat. It is pretty long, and has lots of buoyancy, but is not too heavy to carry. Used it on the lake today with one of my kids paddling in front.
Plenty of room. Fully inflated it is quite stiff, and feels and handles like a boat should. Put the fin on and it tracks great. Was super stable. Felt like we could stand up. Although we didn't put the seat and knee straps in, could see it working well on class 2+ river, with the drain plugs out. The [...] pit is designed for a smaller butt. So if you are well endowed in the behind it would not be comfortable. The tight fit would be a benefit for boat control on whitewater.
fun little kayakVerified Buyer Reviewed by kayakgal from Oklahoma on Tuesday, May 1, 2018I have been looking at inflatable kayaks for almost a year and never wanted to spend the money for a high quality inflatable. I have several hard shell kayaks and wanted an inflatable to take along on vacations and also run some class 2 rapids. I found this one on a great sale, so decided to give it a try. I have only had it for a little over a week and used it twice so far. The skeg is a great benefit for flatwater paddling and does help it to track straight. I also had a great time playing at a whitewater park with class 2-3 rapids. This little boat handles to rapids and drops like a champ. For me it was much less stressful than having to roll up in my hard shell kayak. It maneuvers really well in the rapids and I was able to catch eddy's, ferry across rapids, and peel out just like I do in my hardshell whitewater kayak. The boat is very easy to pump up, and folds back down to fit in the carry bag when deflated. Since I have only used it twice I can't say how durable it will be, but it does seem to be well made. I anticipate have lots more fun in this little boat!
