Well-tailored, quality wetsuit

This is a well-tailored, well-made wetsuit with the fit 2 sizes up. I ordered 1 size up initially: the body could've been okay, but the neck was too tight, and I ended up going through an exchange. • Horrible return policy

I bought this wet suit, really liked it, but to small. Didn't have a bigger size. So I returned it. They did not refund all of my $ for the suit. Charge me for shipping. Never again I will buy from them. Return policy sucks!
    I'd rather shop at Amazon!
    Should be no stars,

I ordered 1 size up initially: the body could've been okay, but the neck was too tight, and I ended up going through an exchange. The first sent exchange looked warn, especially on the inside, and had to go back again, but the second exchanged wetsuit was fine. Except for paying in full + shipping for the 2nd exchange, I am quite pleased with the product and didn't want my store experience to reflect in the product rating. Except for the hassle of extra communicating and shipping, STP was cooperative and offered a shipping refund.
  • Runs small!

Excellent quality. Runs small with a tight fit. Order up 2 sizes for ease of access.
  • will have to exchange

I am 5'2 125 lbs. I got a size 6 based on someone's review. Shoulders too narrow, everywhere else fits. I will exchange for an 8 & hopefully will work.
  • wetsuit fits well and good for not too cold water
Verified Buyer Reviewed by klegs from New Mexico on Tuesday, May 30, 2017
I normally wear a 4 but sized up to 8 based on other reviewers. A 6 might have been better but the 8 seems tight enough without being hard to get into. The zipper in the back needs to be up about 1 inch before putting on and trying to zip up or it gets stuck and doesn't move (if you are the person in the suit trying to zip yourself). I found by doing this I could self dress entirely. The suit seems to be made of high quality materials and has enough room in the armpits to move freely but not excess. It is definitely a warmer water suit but it is a 2mm, as advertised. neck seal is comfortable.

About O’Neill

It was the 1950's when the icy waters of San Francisco Bay drove inveterate surfer Jack O'Neill to develop the neoprene armor that is the stuff of today's wetsuits. Several permutations preceded the arrival of neoprene, including WWII frogmen suits lined with long underwear and later, glued-together pieces of closed-cell foam. Having solved the problem of keeping surfers warm with varying thicknesses of neoprene, O'Neill went on to enhance his wetsuit designs with advancements like the Z.E.N. zip closure system, Smoothskin, Super Seal Glideskin, Plasma Knee Pads and Firewall Chest panels. Today O'Neill wetsuits are the protection of choice for surfers and divers on every coast.
