Warm practical parka

I needed a new parka for cold winter dog walks this year and this works perfectly. I followed the advice of another review and sized up from my normal Medium to a Large and it is a good fit. It is sturdy and should hold up to an occasional dog jumping on it when he is frolicking in the snow. I had a... Read More

  • TOO SMALL
Reviewed by Love them!! from Michigan on Monday, November 27, 2017
It looks like a great coat and I was really looking forward to receiving it but it is way too small. I am 5'1 / 115 pounds and I can just zip it at the top. The shoulders are too tight and I wouldn't be able to wear layers underneath. I was pretty disappointed when I tried it on, and now the only color left is one I don't want. I will be returning it.
  • Great design!

I was looking for a non-down and non-puff snow coat. This parka got everything I want for a coat even the urban styling!

Pros: fitted fit, cuffed sleeves, multiple pockets, warm, attractive detailing

Cons: only complaint is one snap button fell off the second time I put this parka on...easy fix yet a little frustrating

I'm 5'5" and 110 pounds, and purchased an XS. Parka fit well with layers underneath including a sweater. I am small chested, and I imagine this parka would be tight in the chest for many women as prior review stated.

I needed a new parka for cold winter dog walks this year and this works perfectly. I followed the advice of another review and sized up from my normal Medium to a Large and it is a good fit. It is sturdy and should hold up to an occasional dog jumping on it when he is frolicking in the snow. I had a chance to test it out in 17 degrees with windchill bringing it down to about five degrees this morning and it kept me warm. It is only November but I expect it will be a great winter parka.
  • Small but well made
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Coastie from California on Friday, October 20, 2017
I wear a large or extra large. I bought this in an extra large and it was extremely small in the bust area. Also the hand warmer pockets were very far down. Could not reach them. So will return it. Thank you STP for easy returns. The coat is very well made and warm.

About O’Neill

It was the 1950's when the icy waters of San Francisco Bay drove inveterate surfer Jack O'Neill to develop the neoprene armor that is the stuff of today's wetsuits. Several permutations preceded the arrival of neoprene, including WWII frogmen suits lined with long underwear and later, glued-together pieces of closed-cell foam. Having solved the problem of keeping surfers warm with varying thicknesses of neoprene, O'Neill went on to enhance his wetsuit designs with advancements like the Z.E.N. zip closure system, Smoothskin, Super Seal Glideskin, Plasma Knee Pads and Firewall Chest panels. Today O'Neill wetsuits are the protection of choice for surfers and divers on every coast.
