As an experienced pool swimmer, but new to open water swimming I dislike the restrictive feel in the shoulders and way too much boyancy in a full sleeve suit. But I didnt want to be at a disadvantage with no wetsuit at all. This suit is great, the super thin neoprene adds just a touch of boyancy, some warmth and lots of speed. I am 5'8" and 138lbs and the 5 fits great. Only downside is it might not be warm enough in early/late season or very cold waters. The zipper pull also broke off the first time I used it but it works just fine without it (just need assistance getting it zipped up - comes off easily without assistance).

After using a friends 2XU full body tri wetsuit(which felt too sufficating) I purchased this on STP. Felt a little tight on the shoulders however once I swam in the lake it felt very comfortable. It is thick enough to keep me warm but thin enough for ease of movement. I did a 1.5 mile swim this past weekend and it felt great. Not as boyant as the full tri wetsuit but being a swim skin it did it's job.

Based on the description of the product and given a "men's" wetsuit, I planned on the wetsuit being large enough for me (I am a woman, 5'5", size 6). The wetsuit just fit. The product feels extremely comfortable and easy to move in. [...]I am very happy with this purchase!

I was warned in advance to order at least a size larger than according to the size chart for this suit - to add at least 10 lbs to my weight, and perhaps even go a size larger if that puts you at the very top of the size designation. Even the sized up product is very tight and chafes at the neck, which feels like it is strangling me. Too bad, because the overall quality and design of the suit is otherwise excellent. I am still debating whether to keep it or send it back, on the possibility that it will become more comfortable over time.

If you get the correct size this is a great bargain. It looks terrific.
