I'm torn about my feelings for this shoe. I broke my left heel bone a while back and just started walking again/wearing real shoes. I was looking for a slip on with ample heel cushioning that would also accommodate swelling. When I finally wedge/squeeze/shimmy my feet into each shoe, they're amazingly comfortable. Great foot bed - arch support and heel cushioning. The suede is super soft/buttery and after several wears it stretches out. However, the process of getting each shoe on is embarrassing to watch...lets just say its a struggle of tugging and pulling. It must be my arches - the shoe started off being tight across the tops of my feet. Anyway, when they're on, they're wonderful. Getting them on, pretty annoying. Also, before the accident, I was a solid women's 8; 8.5 if I wanted a little wiggle room for the toes. Post break, my left foot is a swollen 9. The 40s are perfect for each foot - no slipping off the back heels or cramping toes.
