Like most or all of OR's products, this thing is well made. But beware, it is very thin. Really just two layers of Lycra-like material.

If you have a slightly small head, you could put this cap over a stretch fleece cap and then have both insulation and windproofing, but it is too tight for me to do that.

Bought 2 for gifts. I wear a size 7 and the beanie would pop off like a champgane cork.

I use this hat for hunting and it works as advertised. I'm pumped that I can wear a facemask or hat over it. The only problem is it's noisy on my head so it makes listening difficult everytime I turn my head.
