Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Tennis player from New York on Thursday, February 27, 2014Great Jacket. I wore it both downhill & cross-country skiing last weekend. It is lightweight, breathable, broke the wind, comfortable and warm enough. Love it! And really nice color red.
Reviewed by cheryl from Oregon Coast on Thursday, November 14, 2013This jacket had so much more puff in the body and sleeves than the Havoc, but it seemed uncomfortable and burdensome and unattractive for the amount of warmth it created. The sleeves ran long. I kept the Havoc instead because it is almost identical in warmth without all the stiff puff. The Chaos is a very quality well made jacket like all OR products, but just a bit too much for me. I thought that it would be sleeker.
Reviewed by AK mama from Alaska on Wednesday, October 2, 2013This jacket has a nice fit, awesome hood, and is water & wind proof. After reading a previous review, I ran the faucet over the sleeve to test its waterproof-ness = awesomeness! I am really happy with this jacket. This jacket is great for the person who is active in the elements of winter. The individual who doesn't like to get their heart rate up, this jacket may be too cold for you. I will be wearing my down jacket or layering this one on those leisure or really cold -20 below days.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Maine Winter Walker from Maine on Sunday, January 6, 2013I got this jacket as my new "go to" jacket for winter. Previous reviews were right, it does have a nice hood and it covered my lower back. However, the color chilli is almost flourescent orange. Not good. The outer shell material is very soft and lightweight. It felt as though it would allow rain to soak right through. The coat was very lightweight, not suited for below 0 windy days. And the material was very noisy when I walked. The clincher was the fit. It was great at the chest, but too tight around the hips. I sent it back, a choice that I rarely make with STP.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by New to HowCo from Mid Atlantic Winters on Thursday, December 20, 2012I was very hopeful about this garment. It is not a true parka length although it does have a nice hood as hoped. The fit was just off in an odd way. And the color was not as pictured either. Just a miss :<(
