  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm & Stylish!

This is a great jacket! I get a lot of compliments! I ordered a small to avoid a frumpy/baggy fit. I am 5'9 & 150 pounds and it fit nicely. It is very flattering to the figure, but I would order a medium if you plan on wearing sweaters/thick clothing a lot underneath. It keeps me warm in the wind and rain, and I love the length. If you're looking for a stylish AND practical, warm jacket - this is it!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice medium weight coat!

Usually can get away with a small but I ended up exchanging it for a medium because it was just a little too tight across the back of the shoulders. Otherwise a great fitting coat.

I was looking for a jacket to wear in the rain in the city, this one looks nice but thr zipper doesn't work well. I plan to return it.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. stylish

I already have a regular raincoat, but this one is far more stylish. It is also much warmer than the average raincoat because it has a fleece lining. Its certainly not a winter coat, but I think I'll get plenty of use out of it in the spring and fall.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Cute, but a little big on the bottom half.

Great jacket, will be worn a lot once the weather turns. A little large for me from the waist down... I am 5-4, 120 lbs, 35" at hips. I think with some creative pleating once the sash is tied it will be fine. Sash is too long, I recommend taking the buckle off, sewing the end and tying as a bow or knot.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
