Buy one size up unless. I wear an xl in most any other brand but had to return original and go to 2xl. Construction is excellent my only concern is breathability.

This was a gift for my son in law Christmas. The jacket was perfect, including color. He gave me list of what he was looking for in a soft shell and this jacket exceeded his expectations. The price was fabulous for the quality we received.

I returned it because it was too tight in the armpits and arms. My height is 6'2" and my build is slender - 182 lbs. My arms are long and the jacket was adequate for this. The fit was OK on my body.
The jacket seemed well made but I have no experience of it's performance.

This is my second credo and an excellent all-around jacket. I use this every day, and take it backpacking during the summer. My only complaint is it could be cut a little more trim. This coat is not overly warm by itself (does have a fleece lined inside), but with proper layering and a hat it can get you through most foul weather. Excellent choice if you'd rather have a water-resistance soft-shell vs a hard-shell

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
