These are great pair of very well made pants. Material felt heavy duty and seams were well done - fit was true to size. Would recommend.

  • Be aware of size

It is a great pair of pants. I bought waist 34 and inseam 30 which is my standard size. However, it seems more like 35 and 32. You might want to order a size lower. At least I should have. I might alter it as I threw away the return receipt. However, it is very well made and good quality. Great price though!

  • Good pants, fit well, OR quality

Noce casual pants that aren't too heavy and are a nice grey color. I've worn them a few times so far and found them to be comfortable with a relaxed cut. The pockets are kind of deep, but not absurdly so. I ordered 34 x 32 and they fit well. I'm 6 ft 1 in (185 cm) and about 200 lbs (90 kg). I typically have to size up to a 35 or 36 waist to find pants that fit, but these worked well at 34.
  • Nice but.........

These looked like a really nice pair of pants but the sizing was so far off not a chance I'd ever wear them. Waist was ordered in 34 but was closer to a 38 or 40. inseam was also way longer than the 32 shown on the garment.
  • Loving these pants

I got size 32 32, which is in the range I usually wear. I am 5'11" and about 175-180 with an athletic build. They fit great everywhere and are extremely comfortable. These pants are like a cross between a stretchy soft shell and a denim pant. They are soft with a little stretch. I usually think of stretch jeans as "jeggings"--a subject of mockery. But these are not tight and not overly stretchy. It adds to the comfort and mobility. The cell phone pocket is too small, but that's my only complaint. I got the mushroom color which is a nice brownish grey. Awesome pants at a great price.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
