I filled this sack with my meals and snacks for archery season in Colorado..... it rained a lot but the sack kept my food dry. Not even the little black bear that visited my camp found it hanging above his head. He couldnt smell the girl scout cookies!
This is a great bag for the outdoors. Better hurry and get one or two!

The features and durable construction of these bags justifies the few extra ounces they weigh when compared to sil-nylon bags. I use it for my sleeping bag and the added protection and confidence it provides over the lighter and less puncture resistant sil-nylon bags is well worth the extra 1.4 oz difference. I know when I stop to camp at the end of the day that my sleeping bag will be dry no matter how bad the deluge I hiked in all day. Great bag at a GR8 price. Would I recommend this to a neighbor? No I wouldn't. He's a snob and deserves to sleep in a wet sleeping bag.

Excellent build quality and light weight! Perfect for carrying moisture sensitive items on trips. I use these for fishing and boat trips, and they work great!

These are really nice quality bags that would be an easy 5 star if the daisy chain webbing on the side was moved down to start at the bottom of the bag instead of at the top (see the light colored strip running down the bag from the top in the photo - that's the daisy chain webbing). It would be much more balanced to attach it to the outside of a backpack if the webbing started near the bottom so that it is more centered when folding the top of the bag down to seal it.
