Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Durable fabric, great stretch, good fit

I have these in several colors, and they are very comfortable because of the great stretch, but they don't cling. They are shorter than other capris I have, just below the knee on me (I'm 5'4", size 2, 110 lb). I disagree with STP's comment that they run small and to size up. My size 2's are snug at first, but not tight, and they loosen up pretty quickly while on, though they don't bag (after washing, they have the original fit). I have tried some other OR pants/capris that were too small in size 2, but these fit me. The waist drawstring stops them from gaping at the back, a problem I often encounter. The drawstring, however, is short; I can make a bow, but I wish it were a little longer. The fabric is durable but fairly lightweight. They shed wrinkles fast, and dry pretty fast, so are good for travel.

Was looking was a light wieght but strong fabric for rock climbing. My friend has had a pair for over a year and the fabric is still holding strong. I was happy to find these pants, in my size and on sale. Great color-if you something pink on the rock in Yosemite--it is probably me!

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
