Great fitting and works! I didn't get any ticks on me when I went on a scramble!

I think that i will like the OR insect-shield convertible pants. They seem to run true to size. I only wish that they had a bit more stretch. I have not worn them yet; they are lightweight, for the summer, and it is still winter here.

I was so disappointed with this purchase. I've recently taken up fishing and want pair of convertible bug-away pants that don't cost more than my fishing gear! These pants were too small, way too small. Not even close to the 8-10 I usually wear. I could barely pull them past my thighs and up over my hips and then I couldn't even begin to button the waist which was so low around my hips you could see my underwear. I don't mind buying seconds, or closeouts, some very good deals and usually good products with some little flaw, or out of fashion color, but this wasn't even sized close to what I ordered even though the tag said it was.

I returned these pants because even though I went 1 size up they were still tight. I guess I was hoping that they had some stretch. They don't!

sizing appropriate to slighty small, so if in the middle of size range - order up.
shorts are long but that is to keep the zipper in a better area and not palpable on the leg.

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
