I am new to the OR brand and if these shorts are a representation of their entire brand then I will stick with them for a long time. They are incredibly comfortable and true to size. Comfortable The material blend is comfortable and has some stretch. The waist (34 waist) fits right. I am 5’6” and muscular 195. the length fits about an inch and a half past my knee.

Nice stretchy material - non-restrictive. Very comfortable. True to their size, if maybe a little tight on the waist - which I prefer to not wear a belt under my harness. Gets dirty somewhat easily - some dirt from my first usage didn't come out after the first wash. Ultimately, a fantastic pair of warm-weather climbing shorts!

I am new to the OR brand and if these shorts are a representation of their entire brand then I will stick with them for a long time. They are incredibly comfortable and true to size. I am a size 34 in both pants and shorts and these fit great. The length is also perfect. I am 5'11" and like my shorts a little long and these drop right at my knee if not slightly below. The material is light and breaths well but seems to be durable enough to hike through woods without fear of snags and tares. Overall...two thumbs up!

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
