DisappointingVerified Buyer Reviewed by JamieOTR from Vermont on Saturday, February 17, 2018While this shirt looks very nice, and is heavyweight, it really isn't flannel, nor would I describe it as brushed. The weave is quite coarse and rough, snaring threads quite easily on things so that they pull. The buttons are not securely sewn and the buttonholes are already starting to fray after less than a month of wear.
Sized small. Comfy but distressedReviewed by Engineer J from Iowa on Wednesday, February 14, 2018This seems to a very slim/short cut. I'm usually on a edge of medium and large (medium normally short in the arms and torso length but large big around the waist). I went with a large as to help with layering but this is nearly too small. Seems to fit like a medium. Hope it does not shrink in the wash or I'll be out of luck on this one.
The material of this is very distressed compared to the picture. Has a well used look and pilling out the package. Collar and pocket flaps have little structure to them resulting is a worn appearance. The material is soft and comfortable to wear.
Overall it is an item I would not have bought if at a store in person but is reasonable for the closeout price.
Great shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kristy from Utah on Wednesday, February 7, 2018This shirt is a lot thicker than I had anticipated, very comfortable, great quality. I'm very happy with the purchase! Highly recommend
Stunned by poor qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from Williamsville, NY on Sunday, February 4, 2018I received two of these shirts. After one wearing and one wash, one shirt emerged from the dryer with a large hole or rip, right along a seam. It was stunningly poor quality. They both had shrunk substantially, even after following washing and drying directions.
Thick flannelVerified Buyer Reviewed by JimRockford13 from Michigan on Saturday, February 3, 2018I found this to be a quality made shirt, size L fit well on my 6' frame, arm length was perfect.
Shrinks in the wash!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Taylor Chillinquist from Utah on Friday, February 2, 2018I bought this know it would shrink so I got a 2XL, where I normally am on the verge of a large/xl. Before the first wash it was huge, but it’s shrunk down to a good size. The collar didnt’t shrink as much, so that is a little loose still.
Well made shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Patrick from Illinois on Wednesday, January 31, 2018Well made, thick material shirt, provides warmth without being too bulky.
Warm Shirt, But Sizing a Bit OffVerified Buyer Reviewed by Iowa Bob from Iowa on Tuesday, January 30, 2018I needed to replace a "brawny" flannel shirt that wore out, and the Pacific Trail Cotton Brawny Flannel Shirt seemed to fit the bill. After reading the reviews, I realized that the only size that would fit me properly was a Large/Regular, since there were no "Tall" sizes available. I am 6'1" tall and weigh about 175 lbs., so large-sized shirts are usually a bit loose on me. This shirt fit very well when it arrived, and its' colors were brighter than shown on my computer screen, so I was pleased to get it for about $15. After washing it following the label instructions, the shirt shrunk, as expected, and was a bit tight and the sleeves were a bit short. However, the shirt still fits, keeps me warm on cold days and still looks good. Although the stitching seems to be sturdy, there were some loose ends that needed to be trimmed, and a small piece of thick paper was sewn into one seam -- I carefully removed it. I would have been annoyed if I had paid much more than $15, but regardless of price, "Pacific Trail" should inspect their merchandize more carefully before it leaves the factory.
