If I was a hiker, I would rate this shoe as excellent for hiking! I do a lot of outdoor work and was looking for something that would offer some good ankle support, kind of like a high-top. These were absolutely perfect. Great sole for traction. Shoes got wet, but my feet didn't. And they offer... Read More

  • “What is EU size to 6 and 7?”
Asked by Mark from New York on 3/15/2018 6:21:15 AM
    • Size conversions can be tricky since different brands' sizing can differ. Background: I usually wear a US women's 8 for running shoes because men's sizes don't come that small. I ordered these in size 8 and they ran a bit large, 7.5 probably would have been better but with thicker socks they were OK. For bicycle shoes I usually wear a Euro 40.

      According to the sizing chart below, US women's 6 = Euro 36-37, US 7 = Euro 37-38, 8 = 38-39, 9 = 39-40.

If I had used this conversion chart going the other way, as a Euro 40, i would have ended up with a US 9 which would have been much too large. So since this shoe seems to run large in the first place, I would guess a US 6 would be equal to no more than a 36.

Unfortunately there's no way to be sure until you try the shoe on. It's one of the pitfalls of ordering shoes online.

  • “Do sizes run about right to fit or smaller/bigger? Also, if buying hiking socks should I buy a 1/2 larger shoe size? ”
Asked by Lucy from Florida on 8/16/2017 2:56:34 PM
    • I ordered my normal shoe size (8-1/2) and they fit wonderfully. If you wear really thick socks and plan on only using them for hiking, then you might want to try a half-size larger, but I found with a normal pair of socks then fit just right. Unless your socks are really, really thick, I would recommend staying with your normal size. I use these all over outside working our property (30 acres) and I absolutely love this boots for every type of terrain and they are so comfortable on my feet I can wear them all day. Hope this helps!
