Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Runs smallReviewed by Desert-Dog from Southern California on Thursday, May 24, 2018My wife returned her first pair to STP because the fit was not true to size. Order at least a half-size up to be satisfied with this product. Concur with some other reviews that the product isn't exactly well-made - the shoes are really stiff and need a lot of breaking in. As long as you're not contemplating a 20-mile hike in them, they should work.
pacific-trail-lawson-hiking-shoes-suede-for-women~p~147vu/Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pat from Upstate New York on Wednesday, July 19, 2017It's a fair shoe. Not particularly comfortable, but they fit well and look nice. I wouldn't wear them for hiking because there isn't enough foot protection or support. I'll stick with the tried-and-true brands. They cost more but are worth it.
Runs very smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by bingo the dingo from Hallsville, MO on Sunday, November 27, 2016Not a bad looking shoe. Cannot make any claims about comfort because as soon as I slipped one on my toes hit the end, didn't even bother to lace them up. Went straight back in the box to return.
good lateral support, no archReviewed by Nomi from NEPA on Tuesday, November 15, 2016these are awesome at this price. I have lots of foot/ankle problems. And these provide great lateral support. But I also have plantar fascitiis and they provide no arch support at all. I had pain from the first block. Luckily I had insoles in another shoe that I was done with and put them in. So I recommend get these shoes and put in an insert immediately.
Not so greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Shannon from Maine on Monday, October 10, 2016The first time I wore these, one of the fabric loops holding the laces in place ripped off. there isn't even an alternate hole to lace the shoes a different way so I can't even wear them. I'm searching the site now to find out how to return them.
They are super roomy though and the heel has a good amount of cushion.
Good Value-great serviceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Marie from Texas on Wednesday, September 28, 2016I ordered size 6 (my usual) and it was a little too short, so
I exchanged for a 6 1/2, which fit great. Pleased with quality and price of this footwear. Especially like how seamless the exchange process was. Kudos to STP for their superior customer service!
so far, so good - optimistic looking forwardVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wendy from Virginia on Tuesday, September 27, 2016I bought these on clearance for a very good deal.
They are roomy for their size. Initially, I was afraid they were too small because my toe bumped into the stitching on top but when I stood up, I realized they were just fine.
I am an Extension Agent and I have worn them twice now for work. Spent full day on my feet judging at a County Fair and one day back in the office. They felt good.
I just never know what I will encounter at work and I think these can handle just about any of it.
pleased with shoes and service!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Marie from Texas on Thursday, September 22, 2016I ordered a size (my usual) and they were a little too short. Exchanged for 6 1/2 and they fit well. Exchange process was streamlined and I received great customer service!
So far, so good!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kayla from Texas on Thursday, August 11, 2016These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly, with plenty of room for thick socks. I use them for lighter hiking, nothing too intense, and they're great. They're not too clunky or heavy duty, so they look pretty good too.
Sizing IssueReviewed by Karen L. from Washington on Wednesday, August 10, 2016I love light hiking shoes for everyday wear, so I ordered these. I normally wear a 6.5 in most shoes, which is what I ordered. With these, however, while the toe box felt just right for my wide feet, there was a considerable amount of space left in the heel. My foot would slip a lot, which I knew would lead to blisters. I tried adding a different insole, adding heel inserts, and even wearing different socks, but this shoe felt unusually long. I couldn't quite lace them tight enough. I am returning, but might recommend going a half-size down if you purchase these.
