Not Great, Not Horrible. Very expensive for what they are & the minimal guarantee they offer

I saw these boots in a local Marshalls, but they were $120, which seemed to me to be very expensive for snow boots. I liked the idea of both a zipper and lace up ties, so that it would be easier to get them on and off. I decided to watch on STP to see if they went on sale because I couldn't justify $120 for snow boots. I got lucky and did get them on sale.

I agree with others who say that the sizing is off. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and I ordered the size 41 (which is 10-10 1/2) and they are VERY snug in the front (I have a medium width foot). It also seems that my toes are much closer to the end of the boot than they should be, based upon my typical size. I had to put them on with thin socks, not heavy socks like I've historically worn with other boots.

The zippers on each boot seemed very stiff to me. Hard to get up and down. That concerned me in terms of the longevity of the boots (especially at the high price point).

I went online and read up on Pajar boots and was disappointed to see that they do NOT guarantee the boots for very long (3 months from date of purchase). I also read that the zippers aren't guaranteed. At this high price point, I'd expect more. Many of their competitors offer significantly better warranties & guarantees at lower price points.

They may be great boots and may not have any issues, but at this point I don't know that. I just received them, so I cannot comment on how well they hold up.
