They are very comfortable and work well for going to and from the ski slopes. They fold easily into a backpack and don't take up much room. I think the description on Sierra Trading post may be a little misleading - I don't think they are meant to be worn as actual snow boots but as reasonably priced, comfy shoes that you can wear to/from winter sports and pack easily in your packback/locker.
