Bought these for my boyfriend. He loves how light and comfortable they are. They don't offer much arch support, but are great around the house and for running errands.
Reviewed by Nate the Office Ninja from Iowa on Monday, January 27, 2014This moc is fairly true to the description given. It has fleece lining and a nice rubber sole which makes it perfect for my preferred use as an indoor slipper. I was under the impression that the fleece lining is removable, which would make it a great transition from winter slipper to summer shoe. As far as I can tell the fleece insole could be removed and replaced with a normal insole, but the rest of the fleece lining does not come out. That's the only reason for the 4 rating.
I have very wide feet. Ideally I'd wear a 12.5W if anybody carried them, but I usually wear etiher a 12W/12EE or a 13-regular width. I went with the 13 on these mocs and have had no problems. They are naturally wider than other regular width shoes, so if you feet are only a little wide you can go with your true size and not order up for extra width.
The rubber sole makes them great for most any use. You could wear them as regular shoes if you desired, or as slippers around the house as I do. having a real sole on the slipper greatly increases functionality for me b/c I can run out to the garage or grab the mail without having to change shoes.
The Patagonia Iron Clad Guarantee means if these bad rabbits did ever break down for some reason, they have a life-time guarantee. However I've been wearing them for a month and don't anticipate needing to utilize this policy anytime soon.
As mentioned, I had hoped the liner was removable so they would be functional year-round. All in all not a huge deal for me.
Because they are wider than normal, the 13 that I ordered is actually a little big - probably could have gotten by with a 12. Again, not a big enough deal to mark them down.
Reviewed by Angie from Denver, CO on Monday, December 2, 2013I bought these shoes as a birthday present for my husband, and he LOVES them. He actually wears them as slippers around the house, because of the fleece lining, but of course they'd be great outdoors as well.

“How much do these weigh? Thinking about replacing my booties with these for base camp; need actual treads, water resistance and durability. Pack size and weight will be important considerations.”
12.6oz for the pair. Thanks for asking and have a great day
“I have another pair of lace-up mocs that are rather snug (compared with Merrells which are usually the right size out of the box). In light of one of the reviews ("quite snug") is ordering a 1/2 size recommended for Patagonia shoes?”
They will be slightly tight with the lining, though that will pack down with time. If you are planning on wearing socks with them you make want a half size larger.
I ordered 1/2 size larger in these mocs.
