    My dog, Titus (a large Doberman) was given the Halloween version of this toy (purchased September 2022 from HomeGoods in Webster, NY). Within a couple of days, he started destuffing the head of the toy. I found several very sharp plastic shards on the floor with the stuffing. I reached into the toy's head and found more shards and a couple of small plastic beads (the apparent remnants of the rattle). Thankfully, my dog did not swallow any of the shards or cut his gums on them but this could have been very dangerous to him. I notified Patchwork Pet about this significant safety issue but these toys (in several seasonal/themed versions) are STILL being sold on their website. I also notified the HomeGoods Store where it was purchased but it was no longer in stock (they also contacted the other local Rochester, NY HomeGoods stores to make sure it was no longer on their shelves). I tried to attach pix to this review but I haven't been able to do so.....

    This product purchased at sister store Home Goods contained extremely sharp plastic shards. Luckily the dog didn’t swallow them but another dog might. Do not buy this. Sierra should not sell from this maker.
